The Nightcrawler tungsten occurrence is located along a west-flowing segment of Deception Creek, about 5 kilometres northeast of No Name Lakes.

The area is underlain by metasedimentary rocks of the Proterozoic-Paleozoic Snowshoe Group, along the south margin of a granitic pluton informally referred to as the Deception stock.

Locally, sparse bedrock exposures include skarn, calc-silicate schist, quartz-biotite schist and quartzite, locally cut by aplitic, pegmatitic and granitic dikes. Layering and schistosity show gentle to moderate dips to the southwest

The Nightcrawler tungsten zone comprises some subcrop and outcrop, along with many large angular blocks, of scheelite-bearing skarn. Fine to coarse-grained scheelite as fracture fillings and disseminations is accompanied locally by traces of chalcopyrite, sphalerite and molybdenite.

The area has been explored since 1997 in conjunction with the Fox occurrence (MINFILE 093A 211. The property was optioned by Happy Creek Minerals Ltd. in December 2004, and an exploration program comprising grid layout, soil and rock geochemical sampling, prospecting and geological mapping was carried out. This program led to the discovery of the Nightcrawler tungsten zone. In 2005, samples from the Nightcrawler Zone returned values up the 3.16 per cent tungsten over 1.5 metres (Assessment Report 27886).

Between 2006 and 2011, Happy Creek Minerals completed various exploration programs on the property and associated occurrences. This work included diamond drilling programs in 2006 and 2010, totalling 4,486 metres over 16 holes. Diamond drilling returned 5.0 metres of 0.33 per cent WO3 in hole 07F-03 and drill hole 07F-05 intersected three significant zones including 2.0 metres of 0.74 per cent WO3, 20.5 metres of 0.08 per cent WO3 and 2.0 metres of 0.48 per cent WO3 (Assessment Report 30008). In 2010, drill hole F10-01, collared 65 metres southeast of previous hole 07F-05, returned 0.16 per cent WO3 over 9.2 metres, including 1.37 per cent WO3 over 0.9 metre (Assessment Report 32054).

During 2012 through 2014, Happy Creek Minerals continued programs of geological mapping and drilling on the Fox property, primarily on the RC (MINFILE 093A 259) zone and surrounding area.

In 2015, Happy Creek Minerals completed a program of airborne magnetic and radiometric surveys, soil sampling, prospecting and geological mapping. In addition, six diamond drill holes, totalling 1500 metres, were also completed on the Creek zone near the east end of the Nightcrawler zone. Drill hole F15-02 yielded 1.0 per cent tungsten tri-oxide over 5.0 metres (Gruenwald, W., Desautels, P. (2016-04-15): NI 43-101 Technical Report Resource Estimate of the Fox Property, Ridley Creek Zone).

In 2016, Happy Creek Minerals completed a program of trail construction, soil sampling, surface chip and channel sampling in 11 trenches, rock sampling, geological mapping and 28 diamond drill holes, totalling 2330 metres, on the BN, BK and RC zones to the north. In 2017, Happy Creek Minerals completed a further 66 diamond drill holes, totalling 6983 metres, on the Fox property along with prospecting, geological mapping and hand trenching.
